Wasfa Privacy Policy

Wasfa is a product developed and operated by Layan Engineering Solutions LLC. This English version is the official legal policy; Arabic is provided as a user-friendly translation.

We collect only the data required to deliver the core functions of Wasfa. If a data element is not required for those functions, we do not collect it, and we do not use collected data for purposes unrelated to the app’s main functionality.

Data we collect

Phone number, account ID, prescription images, medication details, pharmacy responses, order status, and support messages. We may use basic anonymized analytics for product improvement.

Purpose

We use data only to provide Wasfa functionality, order processing, and customer support.

Sharing

Data is shared only with pharmacies selected by the user to fulfill requests. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Wasfa retains personal and health-related information only for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill operational and legal obligations.

Data retention details

User account information (phone number and account ID) is retained while the account remains active.
Prescription images, medication details, and pharmacy responses are retained for up to 90 days after an order is completed, then securely deleted or anonymized.
Communication and support records may be retained for up to 12 months.
Aggregated and anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Users may request deletion at any time by contacting support@layanengineering.com. Data will be deleted unless retention is required by law.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and operational safeguards to protect data.

يتم الاحتفاظ بالبيانات الشخصية والصحية فقط للمدة اللازمة لتقديم الخدمة والوفاء بالالتزامات التشغيلية والقانونية.

تفاصيل الاحتفاظ بالبيانات

تُحتفظ بيانات الحساب (رقم الهاتف ومعرف الحساب) طالما كان الحساب نشطاً.
تُحتفظ صور الوصفات وتفاصيل الأدوية وردود الصيدليات لمدة تصل إلى 90 يوماً بعد إكمال الطلب، ثم تُحذف بأمان أو تُجهّل.
قد تُحتفظ سجلات التواصل والدعم لمدة تصل إلى 12 شهراً.
قد تُحتفظ التحليلات المجمعة والمجهولة لمدة غير محددة.

يمكن للمستخدم طلب حذف البيانات في أي وقت عبر support@layanengineering.com، وسيتم الحذف ما لم يكن الاحتفاظ مطلوباً بموجب القانون.

الأمان

نستخدم تشفير الاتصال وضوابط الوصول وإجراءات تشغيلية لحماية البيانات.
